The other images seen here are various Franklin Brewery Ben Brew labels, post-Prohibition. Ben Brew continued to be the brewery’s main focus until its closing, after several re-alignments, in 1954. Courtesy David Foster collection.

It was a short life for Riverside Brewery, post-Prohibition. Note the certified tax payment, permit number and approximate alcohol content. That last detail would come and go on packaging over the decades, culminating in the ABV (alcohol by volume) listings that appear on most current craft brews, often just to brag.
